COVID-19 Update

September 30,2020

Dear Vista Oaks Families,

We are encouraged about the recent COVID-19 updates that move both Contra Costa and San Joaquin Counties into a new tier of safety. Although, these changes won’t immediately impact the daily operations of the Learning Centers, we are optimistic.

Progress Reports - This Friday all grades for the first quarter are due this Friday. Advisors will email out progress reports to students receiving a C or lower in a course by Tuesday, October 13.

Mental Health Survey - Thank you for completing the mental health surveys.  Our Mental Health Team is meeting and will be sharing resources and opportunities in the upcoming weeks.

October Break - Next week is our October Break. Both Learning Centers will be closed.  We hope that you and your family have a restful break!

Monitoring COVID-19 - Public schools cannot reopen until a county maintains the red tier for 14 days. The Vista Oaks Admin will continue to monitor the County updates and continue to make thoughtful decisions to support our students.

Vista Oaks is fortunate to have so many dedicated students, parents and educators!  Thank you for your patience as we navigate through so much unknown.

Let’s continue learning together!

Vista Oaks
