Mental Health Resources
Vista Oaks values the safety and well being of both students, parents and staff. In accordance with California Education Code Section 48980, parents/guardians and students need to be notified annually how to initiate access to available student mental health services on campus or in the community, or both.
The mental health of your student is very important, and Vista Oaks has identified a selection of resources that you may pursue to address the social-emotional needs of your student. Below are local resources that may be available to you and your student should the need arise. (A reminder that most private health care plans, for example, Kaiser, Blue Cross, Health Net and Medi-Cal offer mental health care and/or cover mental health services as a covered benefit.)
